 I just got one of these wheels, and Inky and I love it. We've used bucket wheels and flying saucer wheels in the past, but this one is by far the easiest to clean, and is completely silent. If given the choice, Inky always runs on his new
Cake Walk Supreme. I think the best part is that I don't have to take the wheel out of the cage to clean. I just spray it with a vinegar/water solution, and wipe with a paper towel. I've never even taken it off the stand. The only downside I see, is that it takes up a bit more space than other wheels. If you have a decent sized cage though, no problem. Thank you for making this great wheel!

I've gotta tell you, I love that wheel. I was kind of surprised because I thought I'd be trying out a wheel and a wheel's a wheel's a wheel and I didn't expect it to really wow me. That wheel works out well for a LOT of reasons.
First -it's a perfect size for the hedgehog - it's not too big, it's not too small. The hedgehog isn't bent in half trying to run on the thing. My girls and boys used that wheel preferentially over a bucket wheel, a wire wheel with plastic mesh liner and a solid metal wheel. The plastic must feel good to their little feet!
It's SUPER easy to clean and it doesn't rust or need painted like my other wheels. It's totally bleachable, all the parts can be easily taken apart and cleaned if you need it. But mostly, the hedgie goop runs out of it or wipes out easily.
The wheel is nice and quiet, and since the weight and motion are distributed over a nice wide base, the cage doesn't shake as much and the overall noise is very very low. What a nice change from the SQUEEKeta SQUEEKeta of the metal wheels!
The bearings must be really smooth because the quilly kids can REALLY work up a fast pace on it! It's just hilarious watching their little feet fly.
I LOVE love LOVE that the grease is totally safe for the hedgehogs. Who knew there was food-grade bearing grease out there!??? No more worries about my hedgehogs licking the axels and getting sick! The bearing is also BEHIND the wheel, instead of across the center of it, so it picks up a LOT less hair, dander and crap from the cage!
Overall this wheel stays cleaner than the other ones, it's got to be more comfortable and more fun to run on because the hedgehogs use it over any other wheel I put next to it.
As my mesh wheels get old and rusty, I am TOTALLY going to replace them with these wheels! And I was really anti-solid wheel before because of the cleanliness issues.

I just wanted to let you know that I received my two wheels and used them for the first time yesterday. I have to admit I was kind of skeptical but willing to try anything after cleaning Wodent Wheels everyday. Wow! This morning's clean took 5 minutes. No soaking, no scrubbing, they literally wiped clean! Not to mention how much Charlotte and Wilbur like them. They hopped on almost immediately and ran for a long time. I am amazed and thrilled. Absolutely worth every penny. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I bought one of the Cake Walk Supreme wheels and I have to tell you that it is the most incredible wheel. I was concerned about the price but it is worth every penny. Neelix loves it and it is so easy to clean.
